BOXING: FOUNDATIONAL COURSE
ABOUT THE COURSE
Foundational work where real boxing begins. Over 9 weeks, you will build correct body mechanics, develop technically sound movement and punching, learn to combine offensive actions, and learn all fundamental defensive techniques.
This course follows a progressive structure; each cycle builds on the skills developed in the previous one. Whether you are stepping into the gym for the very first time or looking to rebuild your technique from the ground up, this course gives you the tools to do it right.

Format: 9 weeks · 18 sessions · 2x per week (Tuesday & Thursday, 12:00 PM)
Session duration: 1 hour
Dates: June 30th – August 27th
Age: Adults and Teens (13+)
Level: Beginners and athletes looking to refine their technique
Coach: Selim Iusupov — Russian Master of Sports in Boxing, Head coach of a national champion (2022), overall a coach with outstanding boxing technique and extensive experience.
Please note: This is a structured program offered as a complete course. Registration is for all three cycles.
CURRICULUM
Cycle 1 — Movement & Striking
3 weeks · 6 sessions (1–6), June 30th - July 16th
Great boxing starts with proper body mechanics. In the first cycle, you will establish a correct stance and learn to throw punches with proper hand, wrist, and body mechanics.
Session 1: Frontal training stance. Stationary punching — body position, arm alignment, wrist control, and core engagement.
Sessions 2–6: Cross-body (opposite-side) punches with footwork. Coordinating movement and striking simultaneously — walking and punching. Technical placement and individual correction.
Cycle 2 — Combination Work
3 weeks · 6 sessions (7–12), July 21st - August 6th
From isolated strikes to a full fighting stance and combination work.
Sessions 7–8: Working the fighting stance. Adapting the techniques from the training stance — distance management, balance, and mobility.
Sessions 9–10: Same-side punches — technical placement and footwork integration.
Sessions 11–12: Combining same-side and cross-body punches. Building your first boxing combinations.
Cycle 3 — Defense
3 weeks · 6 sessions (13–18), August 11th - August 27th
Offense without defense is only half the battle. In the third cycle, you will work through all of the fundamental defensive techniques and learn to integrate them fluidly with the boxing combinations.
Sessions 13–18: Six defensive techniques — drilled and refined:
Block — intercepting a punch with the glove or shoulder
Slip — moving the upper body off the line of attack
Duck — dropping under a punch with a body rotation
Pull-back — pulling back while maintaining stance
Jump-back — rapid exit from punching range
Side step — lateral movement to clear the attack line
Combining defensive actions with punches — your first defensive-offensive sequences.
WHAT YOU WILL LEAVE WITH
By the end of the program, you will move confidently in the boxing stance, throw technically sound same-side and cross-body punches, build combinations, and apply all fundamental defensive techniques under pressure.
